7 YEAR Breast Cancer Survivor
Kathleen was diagnosed when she worked in Cleveland Clinic's Radiology department. After recovering from her surgery, she returned to work full time and every day during her lunch break she walked down the hill to Scully Welsh for her treatment. Kathleen was so touched by the care she received that she became a Scully Welsh employee so that she could also be one of the caregivers caring for you during your treatment.
Kathleen lives in Vero with her dear husband Scott, and we met her the first time we performed at Scully Welsh. We were very impressed with how genuine she was and how she handled everything. Then we found out she was a cancer survivor, and told her “Oh, you’re going to be dancing with us someday.”
From that day forward, she’s been a cherished member of our group. As many of you already know, she’s a very special person, she genuinely loves everyone and offers help to others, even during her own struggles. She truly is our cheerleader, and yours!
